Like The Flamboyant Tree Ever Loveing The Cicadas

Since your return, you walked by each day,
The city was animated and lifted by sunshine.
If at times, the rays are too ardent,
Under your hat shielding partly your face, you find solace.

Since you came by the small path,
Your fragrance lingered on the roadside.
If one day, flowers forget to bloom,
That is because they envy your loveliness.

Since noticing that you strolled down the narrow street,
I suđenly loved to hone my poetry writing skills,
Searching for words that rhyme beautifully,
But you did not ever glance at them.

Then, abruptly, you stop showing your presence,
My verses are like wild grass withering in the backyard
Waiting twice each day for the dew to fall,
Like the flamboyant tree ever missing the rustling of cicadas.
